General Giveaway Terms

The below terms apply to all our giveaways, unless stated otherwise within any individual giveaway terms.

All giveaways are promoted by SortMyCash, a trading name of Fair Legal Limited, registered office 33 Bransdale Drive, Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan, WN4 8WA.

If any paragraph in these terms and conditions is found by any court or administrative body of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect the other paragraphs of these terms and conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.

All giveaways are in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.

Prizes will be as stated in the individual giveaway. Generally, no alternatives will be offered and prizes are not transferable but this will be at the discretion of SortMyCash.

All giveaways are drawn at random in as fair a way as possible within the terms of the individual giveaway; additional ‘chances’ may apply, this will be with a randomised number selection process unless stated otherwise. Draws will generally be processed using a random number generator, unless stated otherwise, with each entrant assigned a number for each ‘chance’ that they have of winning.

Giveaways are fee-free and no purchase necessary to enter but entry requirements may apply, as will be described in the individual giveaway.

Delivery of the giveaways are UK based only.

Each entry to the giveaway will have at least 1 ‘chance’ of winning. From time to time there may be additional ‘chances’ offered in a giveaway, which will be described in the ‘Terms’ of the individual giveaway.

By entering any giveaway or competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Closing date for entry will be indicated in the individual giveaway and no further entries will be permitted after this time. No responsibility will be accepted for entries not received for any reason.

All winners will be announced on the SortMyCash Facebook page/s and reasonable attempts will be made to contact the winner direct. If the winner does not respond or contact SortMyCash to confirm the prize within 90 days, SortMyCash reserve the right to consider the prize forfeited.

SortMyCash reserves the right to remove any individual from any draw, under circumstances where it deems necessary.

SortMyCash reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation, any grievance with a partner or any other event outside of SortMyCash’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by SortMyCash.

SortMyCash’s decision in respect of all matters to do with any giveaway will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

All giveaways and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation.

SortMyCash shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage.

SortMyCash also reserves the right to cancel any giveaway or competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.

Pet Hamper Giveaway

All general rules apply to this giveaway, along with the specific rules, as below.

This giveaway is in celebration of the launch of our pet insurance partnership with and is for two individual entrants to win a pet hamper, one relating to a cat and another relating to a dog as pictured in our Facebook page posts at Facebook.com/sortmycashpetinsurance. This giveaway may be described in posts as any of the following ‘Pet Hamper Giveaway’, ‘Free Pet Goodies Giveaway’, ‘How Many Pet Goodies Are We Giving Away’ or similar.

Each individual person (anyone may enter) who comments on any of our Pet Hamper Giveaway (or similarly named) posts with “Cat” or “Dog” or any other such way (e.g. posting a picture, tagging a person) we may make as a condition of entry as described in any of our Pet Hamper Giveaway or similarly named posts will be awarded a maximum of 1 entry, classed as a ‘chance’.

In addition any individual who chooses to invite friends to our pet insurance Facebook page www.facebook.com/sortmycashpetinsurance will be given an additional 3 ‘chances’ to win. The entrant will be expected to demonstrate that friends have been invited by either producing a screenshot of said invites or in any other reasonably demonstrable way. Upon receiving such evidence the 3 ‘chances’ will be added to that individual’s number of chances to win.

SortMyCash reserves the right to add an additional 5 ‘chances’ to the draw if and when this is explained on any individual Pet Hamper Giveaway post. This being, any member of our VIP Supporters’ group who become an entrant of the “Cat” or “Dog” Pet Hamper Giveaway will receive an additional 5 ‘chances’ to win. Any person may be considered for becoming a member of the exclusive SortMyCash VIP group by following link Facebook.com/groups/sortmycashvip or by emailing VIP@SortMyCash.co.uk.

The draw will be at random using assigned numbers for each chance of winning and drawn using a random number generator, entrants will be split between the ‘Cat’ draw and the ‘Dog’ draw as they have chosen with it being at the discretion of SortMyCash if an entrant has both a ‘Cat’ and a ‘Dog’ as to whether or not they are allowed in both draws. If the entrant has not chosen which draw to enter, SortMyCash will decide which draw to allocate them to. The Pet Hamper Giveaway winner will be drawn at 7.30, on 31st October 2022 with the announcement at 8.00pm of the same day, unless confirmed otherwise on our Pet Insurance Facebook page www.facebook.com/sortmycashpetinsurance. Any new entry after 7.00pm on 31st October 2022 will not be included within the draw and SortMyCash

Once the winners have been drawn, their names will be announced on the SortMyCash Pet Insurance Facebook page and where possible will be contacted direct by SortMyCash. It is the responsibility of entrants to follow the page and check when the winner is announced and therefore no liability will be held by SortMyCash if the winner is not contactable and does not, upon SortMyCash publishing the winner on the page, contact SortMyCash direct. The winner can contact SortMyCash on info@SortMyCash.co.uk. Should SortMyCash have no contact with the winner within 90 days, it is at the discretion of SortMyCash whether the prize is then deemed forfeited.

Upon each winner being in contact, SortMyCash will liaise with said winner to confirm the details for posting the Pet Hamper Giveaways. SortMyCash will pay all reasonable costs for postage within the UK to get the prize to the winner in a timely manner.

SortMyCash will do what we reasonably can to ensure that the giveaway arrives safely and in a timely manner but holds no liability should the giveaway arrive damaged or is for whatever reason lost in the post. It is at the discretion of SortMyCash whether or not a replacement is offered.

Any individual has the right to opt out of this giveaway at any time by contacting us on info@SortMyCash.co.uk

VIP Giveaways

There will be additional giveaways for our VIP supporters. Any person can request VIP status free of charge via email, message or following our VIP page www.SortMyCash.co.uk/VIP, but the VIP supporters club is exclusive and eligibility is strictly for those deemed as strongly supporting SortMyCash in various ways. £100 Monthly Giveaway

All general rules apply to this giveaway, along with the specific rules, as below.

Each person who has registered their name and email address at SortMyCash.co.uk/register is entered into the £100 monthly draw with 1 chance to win per month. Entrants must be over the age of 18 and based within the UK.

From time to time there will be additional ‘chances’ offered, which will be published on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/SortMyCash

The £100 Monthly Giveaway winner will be drawn by a random number generator. The Giveaway winner will be drawn at 7.45pm, with the announcement at 8pm on the last day of each month, unless confirmed otherwise on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/SortMyCash. Any new registration after 7.30pm on the last day of the month may not be included within that month’s draw, but will be in all future draws.

Once the winner has been drawn, their name will be announced on the SortMyCash Facebook page and where possible will be contacted direct by SortMyCash. It is the responsibility of entrants to follow the page and check when the winner is announced and therefore no liability will be held by SortMyCash if the winner is not contactable and does not, upon finding out that they won, contact SortMyCash direct. The winner can contact SortMyCash on info@SortMyCash.co.uk.

Upon the winner being in contact, SortMyCash will liaise with the winner to confirm the payment method and details for payment, which shall be made by SortMyCash within 48 hours of details being received, where possible.

Christmas Hamper Giveaway

All general rules apply to this giveaway, along with the specific rules, as below.

This giveaway is in celebration of our multiple recent page launches including life insurance, mortgages and pet insurance and is for an individual entrant to win the Christmas Hamper Box as pictured in our Facebook page posts at Facebook.com/SortMyCash. This giveaway may be described in posts as any of the following ‘Christmas Hamper Giveaway’, ‘Free Christmas Giveaway’ or ‘How Many Christmas Goodies Are We Giving Away’, plus any additional similar as SortMyCash may choose.

Each individual person who comments on any of our Christmas Hamper Giveaway (or similarly named posts) with “Christmas”, “It’s Never Too Early For Christmas” any guess (correct or not) at how many Christmas goodies we are giving away or any other such comment/s we may make as a condition of entry as described in any of our Christmas Hamper Giveaway or similarly named posts will be awarded a maximum of 1 entry, classed as a ‘chance’.

In addition any individual who chooses to like any of our other pages, such as Facebook.com/SortMyCashLifeInsurance, Facebook.com/SortMyCashPetInsurance or Facebook.com/SortMyCashMortgages or any other such page nominated will be given an additional 1 ‘chance’ to win for each page like.

Centre Parcs Giveaway

All general rules apply to this giveaway, along with the specific rules, as below.

This giveaway is for an individual entrant to win a 3 night’s stay at Centre Parcs at a Centre Parcs location and date of the winner’s choosing, in a 2 bedroom new style woodland lodge for a maximum of 2 adults and 4 children, subject to availability. There will be one single winner of this giveaway. Entrants must be over the age of 18 and based within the UK.

Each individual person who comments on any of our Centre Parcs Giveaway posts with “LIFE” or any other such comment we may make as a condition of entry as described in any of our Centre Parcs posts will be awarded a maximum of 1 entry, classed as a ‘chance’.

In addition any individual who chooses to ‘like’ our Facebook page Facebook.com/SortMyCashLifeInsurance will be given an additional 5 ‘chances’ to win, which will be added automatically without the individual having to confirm that they have ‘liked’ the page.

In addition, all members of our VIP Supporters’ group will receive an additional 10 ‘chances’ to win. The group is free to enter, although as this is an exclusive group, conditions for acceptance apply. Any new entry after 7.00pm on 30th October 2022 will not be included within the draw and SortMyCash undertake  no liability for any entries or chances not received for whatever reason.

It is the responsibility of entrants to follow the page and check when the winner is announced and therefore no liability will be held by SortMyCash if the winner is not contactable and does not, upon finding out that they won, contact SortMyCash direct. Upon the winner being in contact, SortMyCash will liaise with the winner to confirm the details of the stay requested, the attendees, proposed date/s of stay and any other such information as required for booking purposes.

SortMyCash has no affiliation to Centre Parcs and therefore, SortMyCash will be purchasing the Centre Parcs Giveaway on behalf of the winner and the details specified and agreed with the winner are subject to availability.

Should there be no availability for whatever reason following several attempts and proposed dates, SortMyCash will look to offer a comparable prize upon agreement with the winner. If no comparable prize can be agreed upon, SortMyCash will offer a final resolution in the form of a monetary prize in the sum of £500 to be paid to the winner.
